Past Events

Here are some of the past events, fundraisers and community activities that have supported SAFE Castlebellingham.

From walks and wellbeing mornings to community fundraisers and awareness campaigns, every event helps us continue our work and support people in our community.

SAFE Black Tie Fundraiser — Bellingham Castle

SAFE Castlebellingham held a Black Tie fundraising event at Bellingham Castle in March 2023, which raised €18,000. This would be a strong past event to include because it shows major community support.

SAFE Walk 2023

You already have the SAFE Walk 2023 poster, so this should definitely go on the website as a past event. You could include the poster image, route locations, and a short thank-you message.

Knockbridge Walk for Suicide Awareness

SAFE posted thanks to everyone who joined the Knockbridge Walk for Suicide Awareness in aid of SAFE Castlebellingham. This would work well as a short "community walk" past event.

Sound Bath & Nervous System Reset

SAFE promoted a Sound Bath & Nervous System Reset event, described as a gentle 60-minute experience using crystal singing bowls. Another SAFE post said a Sound Bath Morning was fully booked, which shows strong interest.

Weekly Free Yoga for Women & Men

SAFE promoted weekly free yoga for women in Dundalk. This could sit under "Wellbeing Events" or "Community Support Activities."

SAFE Helpline Launch / Awareness

SAFE shared that the Castlebellingham service was live, with volunteers available by phone. This could be added as an important milestone rather than an event.

Community Charity Partners / Fundraising Support

SAFE has been nominated as a charity partner for community events, including references to fundraising events and race/event support. These could be grouped as "Community Fundraising Support."

Thank you to everyone who has taken part, donated, volunteered or helped spread awareness.
